General rental conditions

Acceptance of these conditions is necessary prior to any rental made on our website.
The rental is concluded as a temporary residence, the chalet cannot be used as a main dwelling, and the tenant cannot practice any commercial, craft or professional activity there.
Prior to the conclusion of the seasonal rental contract, the customer will find the availability, price and information concerning the rented accommodation on www.chaletpanorama.fr.

Internal rules

• It is strictly forbidden to smoke (this includes electronic cigarettes) in the chalet, even by the window.
• It is strictly forbidden to bring pets inside the chalet.
• The chalet must not be occupied by more than eight people.
If one or more of these rules is happen not to be respected, SARL Les Tavaillons is allowed to invoice the tenant for the costs of repairing by a professional, which may for example include cleaning and deodorization, but also repairs following damage caused by animals (scratches, bites, problems related to hair deposition, etc.), this list is not exhaustive.

Housekeeping and sheets
In order to guarantee perfect cleanliness and comfort, the additional end-of-stay service, which includes complete cleaning and the replacement of sheets and towels, is mandatory. This service is billed in addition to the rental price. The amount is indicated in the rental order summary, before confirming the reservation.
This service cannot be discussed or canceled at the customer’s request, even to save money. It guarantees the quality of the chalet.

What the rental price includes
• The rental of the chalet and the provision of its equipment
• The supply of electricity and internet
• Wood for the fireplace in winter
• Free parking in front of the chalet

The rental price does not include the amount of the tourist tax

Reservation and deposit
All reservations become firm after payment of a deposit by the tenant of 25% of the total rental price (rent + additional services).
Upon receipt of this payment, the commitments of the tenant and SARL Les Tavaillons are then final.

Deposit
A €300 deposit is required for each rental, as soon as booking. The deposits are managed by a specialized company called Swikly. This deposit is not a partial payment of the rent. The amount of this deposit will not be debited or blocked on the customer’s bank account.

Balance payment
The full rental price, tourist tax, and additional services will be required:
• At the latest one month before the start of the stay for any reservation made more than one month before the start of the stay
• immediately for any reservation made less than one month before the start of the stay.

Tourist tax
The tourist tax is paid in the form of a flat-rate contribution of €6 per day for all occupants for the whole chalet. SARL Les Tavaillons pays back the exact due taxes therefore pays the difference with the fee paid by the tenants.

Entry and departure
The rental starts on the day of arrival at 3PM and ends on the day of departure at 10AM.
At an additional cost of €75, and upon prior acceptance by SARL Les Tavaillons (subject to availability), the rental end time may be postponed to 5PM (“late check-out” option).
Entrance to the chalet is independent: there is no appointment to be made for a key delivery as the main door is equipped with a code lock. The chalet access code is a unique code created especially for each rental. This code is sent by SMS to the customer and will open the door for the duration of the rental. Please note, at the end of the rental, the code no longer allows you to open the door, so it is important to respect the departure time.
The inventory of the apartment is considered correct. All installations and household appliances are considered to be in working order.
Any complaint or anomaly concerning the accommodation must be reported no later than 48 hours after arrival. Otherwise, the premises and equipment are deemed to be compliant and in good condition.
In the event that urgent repairs incumbent on the owner should be carried out during the rental, SARL Les Tavaillons will make every effort to have the necessary repairs carried out, but the non-functioning or non-provision of equipment cannot in no way give rise to financial compensation to the benefit of the tenant.

Reservation cancellation

The cancellation of a reservation results in partial or total invoicing of the rental amount according to the following rules:

  • If the cancellation request is made more than two months before the rental, SARL les Tavaillons charges a cancellation fee of 25% of the total amount of the reservation
  • If the cancellation request is made between one and two months before the rental, SARL les Tavaillons charges a cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount of the reservation
  • If the cancellation request is made less than one month before the rental, SARL les Tavaillons charges a cancellation fee for the full amount of the reservation

In the event of a shortening of the stay, the full amount of the reservation is due.
